Lots of exciting things going on in Fifth Grade!
On March 31st, we SKYPED with the Park Ranger from Yellowstone National Park. We learned a lot about the Park.
- Yellowstone was the first National Park
- The bison that live here at the park and cause the most injuries and traffic jams
- Old Faithful, a geyser, erupts around every two hours
On April 1st, we took a field trip to West Chester University Planetarium. Dr. Karen showed us the stars, planets & constellations. We saw the new digital skylab and even took a quick trip and landed on the moon and Mars.
We then traveled to The Delaware Museum of Natural History to learn about the ocean, coral reefs, sharks, and sea animals. We learned about their habitats & living environments.
On April 9th, Villa Maria held their annual Dance Showcase. 5A danced to "Hung-Up" and 5B danced to "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!"
